Kathy earned her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego after completing her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, where she double majored in English and Political Science. During law school, she dedicated herself to community service, volunteering with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer’s Program where she assisted in guardianship and restraining order cases.She also interned with Justice Corps at the Family Law Facilitator’s Office, helping individuals navigate divorces, custody disputes, support, restraining orders, and settlements. These early experiences gave her firsthand insight into the complexities of family law and shaped her compassionate yet assertive approach.
