Mr. Alvarado knew from a very young age that he wanted to be an attorney, specifically a litigation attorney. Although he initially believed he would be a criminal defense attorney and even began polishing his trial skills by working with the San Diego Federal Defender, ultimately, he found his passion in family law. However, all the skills he picked up from grooming to be a criminal defense attorney only helped him gain that much more of an advantage in a family law courtroom.
Being a litigator at heart, allows Mr. Alvarado to zealously fight for his clients while never losing sight of the fact that every step taken, and every decision made needs to take into consideration how it would ultimately affect trial.
From the moment a client speaks to Mr. Alvarado, they feel like they have someone who is on their side. His passion for what he does transcends beyond the courtroom and directly to the sense of comfort his clients feel when speaking with him.
Mr. Alvarado's experience includes dissolution proceedings, child custody and visitation, establishment of parental relationships, child support, spousal support, post-judgment modifications, mediation, preparation and review of marital settlement agreements, and both the preparation and defense of domestic violence restraining orders.
Mr. Alvarado attended San Diego State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then continued his legal education by attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law, through their Criminal law fellowship.
