San Diego, California

Renee R. De Golier is an associate attorney at Contreras Law located in San Diego, California. She has been awarded such honors as being named one of Super Lawyers’ Magazine’s Rising Stars and Top Women Attorneys in Southern California. Ms. De Golier’s practice has concentrated on real estate, business, and contract litigation. While focusing fundamentally on these practice areas, Ms. De Golier has successfully managed a variety of multi-million-dollar business and contractual disputes. Ms. De Golier has been retained by a wide variety of clients, including but not limited to public national corporations, private regional and local businesses, investors, contractors, real estate agents and brokers, homeowners, professional fiduciaries, homeowner’s associations, commercial property associations, corporate foreclosure trustees, corporate Boards of Directors, LLC Managing Members, and residential and commercial lenders.

In addition to Ms. De Golier's courtroom skills, she is a strong advocate for potential alternative dispute resolution options. While many disputes require court intervention, Ms. De Golier recognizes that, at times, mediation and early settlement options are a prospectively better means of serving a client’s larger goals, objectives, expectations, and in some scenarios, limitations.

Further, having handled a wide variety of business disputes, Ms. De Golier has become skilled at being able to identify when a case potentially overlaps with other concentrations of law, such as Wills and Trusts, Family Law and Bankruptcy. Understanding and identifying the impact that other areas of law may have on a business dispute is critical when considering prospective resolution options. When confronted with such issue, Ms. De Golier devises a plan with her peers at Contreras Law that considers all practical consequences relating to the potential strategy options available to the client.

Ms. De Golier obtained her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a double major in the concentrations of Political Science and Sociology. Following her graduation, the University published an article she authored in the 2007 Edition of the University Law Forum Journal discussing the Fourth Amendment and its application to searches of private residences/structures.

Ms. De Golier is admitted to practice law in the State of California, and is admitted to appear before all Federal District Courts within the State and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
